Journey to follow Christ

Simply. Follow. Jesus

Next Student Ministry

NEXT Student Ministry is a ministry for students, that exists with the purpose to:

  • Be a safe place that students can explore and grow in their FAITH
  • Be a place that students are encouraged to discover and use their God-given gifts/passions to SERVE God by serving others
  • Be a place that encourages students to be ACTIVE in their faith

The 2 theme verses for NEXT Student Ministry are:

Colossians 3:2 – Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

1 Timothy 4:12 – Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.

NEXT Student Ministry is a ministry of BridgeWay Christian Church, and is for any students in Jr High and High School (12-18). We meet for Youth Group on Sunday Nights from 6:30pm to 8pm for a time of fellowship, snacks, games, Bible lesson and Small Group discussion.

We also have times outside of our regularly scheduled Youth Group that we get together for different reasons. These times are announced as they come up and are scheduled. Any and all students are welcome to join us; you do not need to be a member of BridgeWay to join us at Youth Group or any other event we have.

If you would like to know more about the ministry, receive information about it, or have any questions, please contact Pastor Aaron (

Staying Connected

There are a few different ways to stay connected, even when we aren’t at Youth Group or hanging out.

  1. On this site is a category specifically dedicated to Next Student Ministry.
  2. We have a YouTube channel where all our videos are posted. These videos will often also be shared on Student Ministry posts here.
  3. Everyone is encouraged to download the YouVersion Bible App on their device, so periodically we can do a group devotion.
  4. We will utilize the BCC Church App, for both announcements and group messaging.

More details about each of these can be found here.
